4th Annual Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam

It’s been almost 4 years since Kobe Bryant passed away, but that hasn’t stopped his legacy from continuing. His Mamba Mentality lives on in all of us, bringing out the best version of ourselves in whatever passion we have and allowing us to write on our own legend.

Your participation and involvement in the 4th Annual Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam will directly impact an individual in the community and help them achieve their post-secondary education plans. 

The tournament will cost $80 a team with half of the proceeds going to Mi Leyenda Foundation to fund the 2023 Mi Leyenda Scholarship. The other half of the proceeds will be going to the winning team as prize money. 

Tournament Rules

-Tournament is double elimination, 3v3 ( 5 people per team max )

-Games go to 24 straight up (3's and 2's)

-Only Championship game: You will have to win the game by 2

-Have to take the ball back after each change of possession  -Offense calls fouls and has priority, but defense can also call fouls

-Hack-a-Shaq: If the same player gets fouled 3 consecutive scoring drives by the same individual, this will constitute in 2 Free Throws for that individual, repeat as needed

-"Ball don't lie": If there is any dispute over a possession , or any thing that constitutes a dispute, both players will shoot a 3 and whoever makes it keeps possession, repeat until there is a make and a miss. 

-One winner will be crowned and awarded half the proceeds as prize money 

Teams must have fully paid, registered, and each team member must have filled out the waiver release form to play .
