Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam
Created to honor the life of Kobe Bryant, the Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam celebrates competition, drive, and philanthropic efforts.

The Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam was originally hosted at an outdoor basketball court in Thornton, Colorado due to COVID restrictions at the time of the inaugural tournament.
Since then the tournament is held at Greeley West High School in Greeley Colorado which supports the efforts of the Mi Leyenda Scholarship.

The tournament is a double elimination 3v3 format played on a half court. Teams can have up to 5 players on a team and can sub in on any dead ball.
Every game is played to 24 by 2's and 3's with only the championship game requiring that you win by at least 2 points to win the game

Half of the total proceeds of the Mamba Memorial 3v3 Slam are awarded as the prize money for the winning team of the tournament. The more teams that participate the higher the total winnings are.
The second half of the proceeds fund the Mi Leyenda Scholarship which is awarded to a graduating senior from Greeley West High School looking to pursue a post secondary education.

Greeley West High School for the first time and the proceeds from the tournament supported the 1st Mi Leyenda Scholarship awarded to a graduating senior from Greeley West High School.

In a joint effort, the 2nd annual tournament was held at an outdoor setting in Thornton, Colorado. Proceeds of the tournament were donated to a local Denver organization impacting youth in the metro area.

With the shockwave of Kobe Bryant's passing still lingering, an effort was made to honor the legacy of the Black Mamba and create a 3v3 tournament.
During what is known as 'Mamba Week' during the week of 8/24, the tournament focuses on competitive drive and philanthropic efforts.
